MATIS, which was inspired by an ancient Greek word meaning ‘to put something in’, is a traditional French aesthetic brand made with a philosophy of ‘putting active ingredients deeply into the skin to solve skin problems’.

Eugène & Jeanne Mavromati, chemistry doctors and professionals of cosmetic formula, invented the formula.

Then, Mr. Claude Camboulive and Mrs. Delalande Camboulive, the founders of MATIS, acquired the formula from Mavromati and started to develop MATIS into a professional skin care brand since 1981. Now, MATIS exports its products to over 72 countries around the world and has had a great reception from skin care specialists and its products are used by 7,000 spas in luxury hotels.
