WIDOW JANE

Brand details
Widow Jane does not only wish to assert the fact that it is a young, new distillery in New York City, but is also focused on restoring the legacy of a pure urban distillery culture that was lost during Prohibition, which began in 1920. Today, New York City is an iconic place known as the world's “financial capital,” but 100 years ago, New York was famous for its manufacturing industry and had many laborers in manufacturing. During those days, after finishing all work, the laborers of New York would drink bourbon whiskey at a local bar to shake off the fatigue of a hard day's work. Widow Jane pursues a bold spirit of innovation based on this pure culture of the past. 10 years after its establishment, Widow Jane Distillery currently uses the NON-GMO corns for the Wapsie Valley, Bloody Butcher and Baby Jane etc and uses the sweet, lime-rich water from the Rosendale Mine area was used to build the foundations of New York's iconic buildings, including the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire Building. It has a silky-soft character and is produced in small quantities only in 5-barrel batches.
