Caution How to Wear the Product
  • When putting on or taking off the product, always hold the front with both hands.
  • When cleaning the lenses, wrap your hand around the frame surrounding the lens and wipe gently with a dedicated cleaning cloth for lenses. Applying excessive force may cause deformation of the frame or damage to the lens surface.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise while wearing the product. This may lead to injury.

Product Care/Storage Methods
  Frame
  • Acetate material is sensitive to temperature, so prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause deformation. Please avoid storing in a vehicle and keep in a cool place.
  • The plating on metal material may peel off if left exposed to oil, moisture, or salt for an extended period. Please care for it by wiping it frequently with a soft, dry towel.
  • Contact with chemicals such as sunscreen, hairspray, hand sanitizer, or acetone may damage the frame surface. If contaminated, wash with running water, wipe with a dry towel, and allow to dry completely.
  • Using the product for a long time without lenses inserted may cause deformation of the frame shape. We recommend using the product with lenses inserted.
  Lens
  • Gentle Monster does not support prescription lens processing. Please visit a nearby optician. However, prescription lens processing may be limited for some sunglasses.
If you require further information, please contact the Product Service Team. (Restricted items: FLATBA lenses, specially processed lenses, integrated lenses, etc.)
  • Please store the lenses so that their surface does not touch the base. When storing in a case, it is recommended to wrap the lenses with a dedicated eyeglass cloth.
  • Since lens coatings are vulnerable to alkaline substances, avoid washing with alkaline detergents such as soap. Instead, soak the lenses briefly in water dissolved with a neutral detergent, rinse under running water, and wipe with a soft cloth.
  • If the lenses are severely scratched or the coating is damaged, it may negatively affect your vision, so we recommend replacing them with new lenses.

    When purchasing a product from Gentle Monster's official online or in-store stores, an authenticity certification label is attached to the bridge of the glasses or sunglasses before shipping. Damaged labels make authentication difficult, and exchanges and refunds are not possible. Please check for defects before removing the tag. If there is a problem with the product, please contact customer service center.

     

    <Basic Fitting Service>

    All Gentle Monster products ordered online are shipped after a basic fitting. However, horizontal misalignment may occur during shipping due to environmental and temperature changes.

    This is a natural phenomenon due to the nature of the material. After receiving your order, visit a Gentle Monster offline store (department store, shopping mall, or flagship store) to receive a free fitting service (horizontal adjustment) tailored to your face shape. (Excluding optical stores)
